Who is Aurora Jeanne Boe?

Hey There!

My name is Aurora Jeanne Boe. I was born in Hartford, Connecticut and lived there until I was 15 (2017). While living in CT I worked with so many amazing artist and had the chance to attend RJ Kinsella School of Performing Arts. I grew up in an environment where my desire for theatre and the arts was nurtured and supported, which has led me down the path I am on today. Cirillo summer theatre, Thomaston Opera House, and  - is where my parents practically raised me and that will forever be apart of me.

In late 2017, my family relocated to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. After moving its hard to get a new start, but the people were so welcoming and soon after I was back on the community theatre stage. The Center for the Arts is a huge part of my learning and growth as a creative. Not only did my family and I participate in their shows, but I found a love for choreography and directing there.

The first show I ever choreographed was a special one. My parents who are also creatives, were directing a production of "The Fanasticks" and offered the idea of making it a Family project. Excited and scared at the opportunity, I said yes and my creative journey was forever changed.

In the end I guess I can say that with every day, class, or production, I find new things to love about the theatrical world we are in. A lot of that mentality comes from my Family and their love for the arts as well. I am lucky to be the daughter of two performers who love what they do just as much as they love our family. I couldn't ask for a more inspiration and supportive (yet honest) support team. Everyday I strive to bring what they gave me into the creative space.

My Parents story...

You could say I owe my existence to theatre, specifically "HAIR" the musical. If it weren't for those two 20 year olds auditioning for their local production, I wouldn't be here today. Their love story was so inspiring back home that it made the local paper! Talk about big shoes to fill..."Love with no intermission". That headline rings in my head daily. In a way I like to live by it, love everyone and everything with no intermission.
